Guest guest
Dear Gurusher Kaur: Yogi Bhajan taught Gurudev Singh SNR and he left it to Gurudev to teach the rest of us SNR. Now I need to clarify with you. SNR itself is not meditation. There are meditations on the other hand that enhance one's SNR practice. SNR has to be done with a teach present who can give you feedback on where you are. So I would be very surprised if any SNR practice was offered as a tutorial on a video or DVD. There are tapes of YB's teachings however. For instance: The negative, positive and neutral minds are great tapes. There are tapes on business. And others as well. Blessings, Awtar
Guest guest
With regards to the answer about direction--I believe I was able to ease your responsibility of answering each and every question that is posted. The direction of the bed/futon/etc. should have your head facing NorthEast--feet towards the SouthWest. This information was obtained from George Furnstein (spelling?) Complete: Yoga Tradition and Philosophy -- I've taken the time to read cover to cover twice, and I am on my third go around. Don't misunderstand, it is a great service you provide giving thorough responses to most every question. In many instances, I find it saves me from feeling compelled to respond. I am an avid believer in backing up my Kundalini -- as well as other schools of yoga--teaching with research and knowledge. I must admit--I was stumped this week when one of my students asked me how many calories they would burn in the class. My response was that "as much as this practice is spiritual--it could be view as a fully aerobic workout." May we all share in knowledge and love, Donegal --- kundalini_yoga (AT) hotmail (DOT) com wrote: > Dear Gurusher Kaur: > > > > Yogi Bhajan taught Gurudev Singh SNR and he left it > to Gurudev to teach the > rest of us SNR. > > > > Now I need to clarify with you.
