Guest guest
When Yogi Bhajan first taught this kriya he said that he had discovered it in scripture, and that it was the highest kriya. The scripture in which he discovered it was the Guru Granth Sahib. Religious pundits tend to deny it, but the Sikh scripture is full of yoga teachings. Alas, many of them are coded and it takes a master, or a master experimenter, to figure them out: Raag Maaroo, The Word Of Jai Dayv Jee: "One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru: The breath is drawn in through the left nostril; it is held in the central channel of the Sushmanaa, and exhaled through the right nostril, repeating the Lord's Name sixteen times. I am powerless; my power has been broken. My unstable mind has been stabliized, and my unadorned soul has been adorned. I drink in the Ambrosial Nectar." Guest guest
Theer are many such references in the Siri Guru Granth Sahib. I have found myself more than once reading in an akhand path and then kind of losing the reference because of the obligation to read on. It would be an excellent research project to go through the scriptures and find such references.
