Guest guest
Hi, all. I've been having problems in one knee that have been building over time, and finally got it checked out. The doctor said that the weakness was only manifesting in the knee, that "knee problems do not present like this" and as everything is connected, it is not uncommond for odd things in knees to originate with imbalances elsewhere. Coupla X Rays later and.....it seems that the disks in my lower back are not as big as they should be, not giving me enough cushion and so forth. I was told that for now it's not a big deal, but I should not aggravate this condition by "bending forward or back, twisting the spine, or lifting heavy objects." Any thoughts on this one? Not very yoga-friendly advice, that's for sure. I certainly don't want to develop serious back problems later in life though.
