Guest guest
Namaste friends, I talked about sound vibrations at various levels, some gross and some subtle. Though it may be tough to visualize for some, we are all connected at some level and can communicate through mere thoughts. I want to narrate a small story. We performed a Shata Chandi Homam at the Kalikambal temple in Chennai during March 1-7, 2006. It was finished in the afternoon of March 7 and then the water from the kalashas used in homam was used for doing abhishekam of the idols inside the temple. The priests took me inside the garbhalaya for that ritual. I was sitting inside, close to the idols. The priest brought a Rudraksha mala from the Mother and put it around the neck. For a second, the following stupid thought raced through mind: "I already have so many Rudraksha malas. It would've been nice if I got a sphatika mala as a memory of this homam." Immediately, I told myself: "O fool, just keep quiet and be happy with whatever you get." I then forgot about all this and did some meditation there while the rituals went on. I was on a flight to Hyderabad next morning. My son was hitting the seat before him with his legs and the old gentleman in that seat turned back to complain. I apologized to him and told my son to sit properly. After a few seconds, that gentleman turned back again and asked my name. When I said I was PVR Narasimha Rao, he said that he liked me and that he used my software. He was a professional astrologer in Hyderabad. He had seen a photo of mine 6 years back in an EST interview and recognized me although I had no hair (I had given my hair at Tirumala before the Shata Chandi homam) and looked different from the photo. In fact, he said he was intuitively expecting to meet someone important on the flight and was extra alert because of it. He told me he had met a saintly person the previous evening (i.e. a few hours after the abhishekam mentioned above) and the gentleman gave him three sphatika malas. Apparently, he was told to keep one for himself and one for a close family member. He was told by that saintly person that he would meet a person he admired within 24 hours and had to hand over the third sphatika mala to that person! He was supposed to go back to Hyderabad on March 8 night by train, but some sudden changes of plan meant he canceled the train reservation and took a flight in the morning instead. It happened to be our flight, we happened to sit behind him, my son happened to push his seat, he happened to recognize me and so we connected. As soon as we went to the baggage claim and his suit case came, he opened it and gifted me the sphatika mala. Look at all the coincidences in this story!! I had taken a vow to read Durga Sptashati for 108 consecutive days, starting from the Shati Chandi homam. I used that sphatika mala from that day onwards. It is clear to me that the energy that drives all of us also connects all of us. Sometimes, this unseen connection is stronger than the physical and explicit connection formed through external senses (hearing, seeing etc). All this results in a lot of interesting coincidences at times! I have seen many examples like this and this story is only one illustration of the idea. BTW, when the thought came to my mind, it was the afternoon of March 7 in Chennai. I think Cancer was rising. When the sphatika mala reached my hands, it was the forenoon of March 8 in Hyderabad and Taurus was rising. Thank you for this story as it reinforces my belief on the Universe, God and the coincidences and how doors open when we leave everything to God. Guest guest
Dear Narasimha, Fascinated to read your experience. It is a Miracle and not just a "coincidence'. You are very fortunate and blessed. This is a perfect example of how God fulfills even a passing thought of a sincere, true and humble devotee of His who serves society selflessly. I am very much inspired by this first-hand experience from a person whom I greatly admire and respect and wish I could emulate. Guest guest
dear friends while appreciating Narasimha for this divine experience i wish to give one more angle to this. a person who always speaks truth in thought, word and deed develops not only vaak suddhi but over a period he develops vaak siddhi. simply put, because he is speaking truth all the time for long and his body, mind and soul are aligned to speak only truth, over a period of time, whatever he speaks becomes truth. this is the case with all sages, saints and divine spiritual people who follow truth. i suggested in the groups earlier that even if a person is athiest and does not believe in god or dont do any poojas at all, if he practice the path of truth with trikarana suddhi (manasa, vacha and karmana) he would also get vaak suddhi and siddhi, for TRUTH IS GOD and GOD IS TRUTH. these days all motivational gurus or trainers have been preaching the corporate managers "you get what you wantyou get what you wishyour future is in your handsyou canyou are your master" etc. to make a simple layman understand easily, the elders have advised that goddess saraswati comes on the word (tongue) of each and every human for a specific time (no fixed schedule) and at that time whatever the native wish and says, it becomes true. suppose a native apprehends a problem for himself, it happens. suppose a native wish getting a fortune, it happens. similar is the case with what he wish for others. because of this reason, the elders have advised the young lads to ALWAYS WISH AND SPEAK ONLY GOOD FOR SELF AS WELL AS OTHERS, as whatever is willed or wished or said can become true. Gita says "nahi kalyana krit kakshit, durgatim tata gachhati" meaning a person who wish good for others, speaks good for others and actually does good for others, can never get bad things. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun vedic astrology, "Narasimha P.V.R. Guest guest
Dear respected Pandit Arjunji, Encouraging words. Thank for so much for this kind of postings. Kindly tell me the meaning of 'vaak suddhi' and 'vaak siddhi'. Do those mean, 'pure words' and 'pure deeds'? Sorry I am not fluent in this language. Guest guest
Dear Lalitha garu, > > Thank you for this story as it reinforces my belief on the Universe, > > God and the coincidences and how doors open when we leave everything > > to God. This is precisely why I shared a personal story with the group. If I can inspire even one person, I thought it would be worth writing. However, I need to caution you against calling it a "miracle" or thinking of me as a "sincere, true and humble devotee". This is not really about me at all. The fact is that it was a very auspicious moment and I was close to an idol worshipped by great sadhakas and I was in a small area where atleast four really great souls were present at that time. All that may have contributed to whatever happened. If at all there is something to take away from this story, it is what Lalitha garu wrote above. This is not really about *me* at all. This is about Her. I am merely a nimitta in the story. So do not think of me when you read the story and only think of Her. In the last month or so, Jupiter and Ketu were transiting in Aquarius navamsa. Aquarius in my natal rasi chart contains my AK Moon and my current AD planet. This transit has made me post a lot of articles related to spirituality. If my writings were useful to some people, I am glad. If my writings were found to be nonsensical by some people, I am sorry (please ignore me). I seemed to have ruffled a few feathers with my spirituality posts unintentionally. I will be reducing my spirituality related posts. Guest guest
Respected PVR Narasimha Garu and members, This morning I was listening and reciting to Lalita Pancharatnam by Adi Shankara as as it is Tuesday. One of the slokas goes like this.. "Thasmai DhaDhaathi Lalita Jatithi Praasanna Vidyam Shriyam Vimala Sowkyam AnanthaKirthim" and again I was reminded of PVR Garu's story. SHE is the Divine Mother and SHE gives happiness instantly by fulfilling PVR Garu's unspoken wish for spatika mala- "Thasmai DhaDhaathi Lalita Jatithi Praasanna". Guest guest
dear friends vaak means word that is spoken and shuddhi means purity. do not misunderstand a person who stammers or who cannot pronounce some words correctly as not having vaak shuddhi. generally, many human tend to lie or give false promises with the only objective of thier self benefit and in doing so, the meaning of their word in thought is different, word spoken is different and word in deed is different. one merchant who is engaged in selling his products by hook or crook told that his tonuge is his own tool and he can twist it any which way he can and tell 1001 lies, for they are all free products of his free tool i.e. the tongue. only those persons who follow truth in thought, word and deed will have vaak shuddhi because of the trikarana shuddi (manasa, vacha, karmana) or the perfect synchronised alignment between thought, word and deed. vaak shuddhi is found in only such people following satya vrat. gods and sages have the divine energy, power or strength to bless (very rarely curse also) a native and whatever is granted, blessed or told by such god or divine person will happen because of that person's vaak siddhi, even if that thing is not written in the fate of the native. however, many people tend to jump to conclusions that, after recital of a mantra or some ritual, they get certain siddhis and whatever they say it happens. this is also true but it would be consistent only if that person also follow satya vrat with trikaana shuddhi. simply put, truth is god and god is truth. for an astrologer, it is the first basic pre-requisite that he must be a follower of truth. is he does not speak truth, what he predicts will also not become true. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun vedic astrology, "renunw" <renunw wrote: > > Dear respected Pandit Arjunji, > > Encouraging words.
