You got it... its Kalatra Shapa as Saturn and Rahu lord the fourth house, arudha lagna and upapada. Now try Jayendra Sarasvatis chart and try the same approach.

Now you will realize how important curses are in the chart.

Please let me share a little... Firstly, Saturn is retrograde, which will certainly modify the results. But, perhaps more importantly, Lagnesh is ill placed in the 8th house forming a strong Kalatra shaapa, as well as a daridra yoga. Since Rahu is involved, and Rahu lords the 4th house, it is no doubt going to cause some shocks in this area. The UL is also in Aquarius.

 

Further, there is a tattva conflict with the Sun lording both the tithi and vaara of birth. This the 10th house also becomes troublesome.

 

So all the points that you mentioned may not necessarily be linked to Saturn's placement.

 

Hopefully other members will add to this or correct me if I'm wrong. I hope it helps.
