Guest guest
Jai Maa, Jai Thakur... Please add 3 more to the number I had given you previously(4). It's a total of 7 upto now from My Parents and I. I know we still have lot more to do, so we will try to pick up the pace here. My favorite verses so far from the Guru Gita are 102, 156, & 170. 102. So long as the body may remain, remember your Guru as a worshipful God. Do not give up the Guru, even if he moves according to his own rhythm. 156. The children of the Guru(disciples), though they may be fools, can attain to perfection in all pure actions such as initiation, performance of vows, and purifying austerities. Others cannot. 170. This body, these organs of action and knowledge, this life force, and objective of being, one's own near and dear and friends, mother, father, family; oh Goddess, all are only the Guru without a doubt. (translation by Swami Satyananda Saraswati from Shree Maa: The Guru and The Goddess) My obeisances to the Guru spirit residing within all of you. To our gurus Thakur Shree Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Shree Maa and Swami Satyananda Saraswati. I had previously tried to share this site that has beautiful Guru Gita chanting, word to word as it is in "The Guru and the Goddess". It is a third of the way down on this site: http://www.spiritual-happiness.com/music.html Jai Maa, Jai Thakur. Ram Ram Ram.
