It is true that it is called a Graha [don't get mixed up with planet here] By Graha Vedic astrology talks of light emanating bodies, if v consider VIBGOR, UV, IR as light THEN we can consider rahu, ketu as Graha too, which are the the extreme points of the celestial zodiac North point is rahu, south point i s Ketu.

as Graha it has a role in the dasa system

we must not get confused with western notion of planet as Sum is star Moon a satellite of earth, so to get the right meaning all are referred to as Grahas that emit some light.
