Leaving alone the unseen result of getting rid of all sins, those who see and worship him attain the experience of ultimate joy. Even if rudra filled with anger and tamo guna experience a change while hearing the divine names of the lord by chance what to say about those who directly get his darshan?

 

 

 

(kAmanudal koNda tavaththArkku) Rudra burnt the body of kama deva who induced the love in rudra towards parvathi (siva's wife). It is natural for anyone to have a special feeling towards their wife but here rudra spent his hard earned power through long time penance to burn someone who helped him to develop a special feeling towards his wife.

Impressed by parvathi's talk, rudra asked her to continue to say more about the lord's greatness and the divinity of his names. Rudra even forgot the usual shisyAcharya kramam (Teacher-Disciple relationship) and got immersed in the speech of parvati.
