Guest guest
Bhaktivedanta Coaching Newsletter Getting Better If we want to create an internal culture of improvement, we need role modeling from the top. We need the person at the top to be open about their own desire for personal growth and development. For example, Michael Dell (Dell Computers) stands up in front of his employees and says, "My name is Michael Dell. I want to get better. This is what I want to get better at. It's not easy. I am reaching out. Can you help me get better?" He doesn't act like a big shot. He just acts like a humble human. And what happens? People have more respect for Michael Dell. All of a sudden many of them also think, "Hey, I can learn and improve too." So we can get out of the ego-driven attitude to pretend we're perfect. As long as we are playing that game there will be no culture of improvement. No one needs coaching. No on eneeds training. We are all perfect.
