Guest guest
Dear Yaduraja Prabhu, PAMHO. AGTSP! > First you claim there is an etiquette preventing Srila Prabhupada’s > disciples from initiating their own disciples during Srila Prabhupada's > presence, and then you contradict this with the assertion that the only > thing preventing them is that they must wait to be > “allowed/empowered/competent ”, which could occur 'by 1975'. I did not write that. Please carefully read what I write. I stated following: 1) It is the etiquette that during his presence no disciple should accept his own disciples. 2) It is possible that while Srila Prabhupada was present his disciples were allowed/empowered/competent to initiate/make their own disciples and at the same time there was the etiquette that they do not do so in his presence. Both is confirmed by Srila Prabhupada: "Now, they’re competent. They can, not only the swamis, even the grhasthas, they are called dasa adhikari, and brahmacaris, everyone can, whoever is initiated, he is competent to make disciples. But as a matter of etiquette they do not do so in the presence of their spiritual master. This is the etiquette. Otherwise, they are competent. They can make disciples and spread." (Room Conversation, July 18, 1971) So there is no contradiction in my statements as you many times tried to prove. Remember, Srila Prabhupada said: "The process of speaking in spiritual circles is to say something upheld by the scriptures. One should at once quote from scriptural authority to back up what he is saying." (Bg 17.15 purport) So far you have not followed this instruction regarding following claims: a) In 1966 Srila Prabhupada wanted to be the sole diksa guru for ISKCON for its entire duration. b) Until today Srila Prabhupada did not authorize anyone to be diksa-guru. c) The Hamsadutta letter could only be referring to disciples initiating on his behalf. Therefore you (IRM) remain defeated. ys Ramakanta dasa
