Guest guest
AGT Srila Prabhupada First thing is to get a differentila diagnoses to make sure yo do not have Crohn's diseaseas many doctors make this mistake. Than we have to ask is the condition ulcerative with possibly bloody stools. Colitis is also a inflamation so we have to eliminate those things which can cause this, including fungus and their toxins-see my attached paper on this at the end of this post-food allergies, chlorinated water and dysbiosis> Compromise immune system is a strong factor. Lets start with fiber: The best is fenugreek seeds soaked for 2=3 days inat room temerature than reefrigerated. Put 4-5 Tablepsoons in a liter of good water and take a table sppon of the soaked seeds with a lot of good water about 45 minutes before a meal.(This also great for diabetics.) You may drink the water with the seeds and replace.I suggest Dr. Ohira's Probitic 12 forrmula or go to Natren .com for another powerful probiotic called Holy Trinity, to restore symbiosis, to take with the fiber or with food. Ground flax seeds and hemp seeed, or their oils, is highly useful for omega-3 fatty acids. research has proven it efefective, as are some nuts like walnuts. Add a good quality Vitamin/mineral formula to prtect against deficiencies. Butyrates in the form of enemas or sodium butyrate by mouth can help as can brewers yeast mixed in good yogurt and thee amino acids glutamine and arginien. Take several grams/each a day in water or juice. Aloe vera gel or juicxe is also suggested. This will give you a great start. You may try eliminating and than adding certain foods for allergies/increased symtoms. This will give a good start. Let us know how you do <Please accept my humble obeissances, | _/\ò_. ___ò_. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All Glories to Sri Guru Maharaja. Does any one have a good natural remedy for Colitis which is an infection or swelling in the intestines? Hare Krsna your servant Pandava Sakha Das> Dandavats and AGT Srila Prabhupada My background is in chemistry and Allied Health fields, with a long time interest in alternative modalities. Over the years I kept seeing the possibility of mycotic organisms, or mycoses-that include fungus and yeast-involved with many disease processes. This includes a large array of illnesses, including CANCERS, diabetes, gout, skin and nail infections, cardiovascular diseases, osteoporosis and elevated blood pressure and levels of triglycerides and cholesterol. My educational perspective was further validited by watching Doug Kaufmann on TV and reading his books, written along with an associate, like Dr."Dave" Holland. Online research brought me to Dr. A.V.Costantini, a German doctor who was once head of mycoses for WHO and has a long association with UCLA medical center. (Put fungalbionics in your web browser.) These pathogenic organisms are found in a wide array of foods but especially in grains, peanuts seeds and soybeans. These foods may also contain appreciable amounts of their toxins-a very little can be quite deleterious-which are NOT destroyed by cooking or washing temperatures. A healthy immune system is the first line of defense. The very young, the aged and sick are at greater risk. (Generally, those who are immune compromised.) Still, healthy individuals are at risk, especially via toxins. Many a person develops an active systemic fungus or yeast infection. Use of antibiotics-which are mostly redeveloped fungal toxins-increase the risk for these diseases. Prevention can include the elimination of contaminated foods, which may include commercial, ugrama karma, milk and dairy. (Some experts feel that organic food sources are more resistant to fungal infections that can be passed on.) Research has shown that the Atkins and possibly South Beach diets can be both a prophylactic and treatment. Fiber, especially from vegetables, absorb the toxins Things found in health stores for yeast infections can also treat fungus. Olive leaf extract and the medium-chain fat, caprylic acid-found abundantly in coconuts and it's oil-are just two helpful remedies. I posted my concerns many years ago on COM/pamho's Holistic health but got a few sophomoric reply from some devotees who may have had am elementary course in statistics and were worried about causality. They apparently were not privy to the relevant tool, the coefficient of co-relationship. By way of serendipity, the last time I traveled to Denver-about 5 or 6 months ago-to meet with B.S. Damodara Maharaja, I met a very intelligent disciple of his-Giridhari Krishna Das-who is a post-doctoral fellow in molecular biology, working in this very area of research. (Most doctors currently, are ignorant of the subject matter.) He confirmed mush of what I said, above. It behooves you all to get this information to those leaders in your zone so that they can follow up. I, and I hope maharaja's cited disciple, are at your service for more information, modalities and scientific references. Yours in service to Srila Prabhupada and his devotees, Jayo das jayo.das (AT) sbcglobal (DOT) net jayodas (AT) aol (DOT) com and on pamho.
