Partly related to the subject, I recall Mahanidhi Swami once quoted Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura saying(it might be in Jaiva Dharma) that this subject of Jiva`s fall down can be understood only in meditation (=in spiritual platform) not by mundane logic.
