Guest guest
Please add two more to our count, it is a total of 9 upto now, from tulsi and parents. The verses that stood out in the last recitation were - 15. Drink the water from the Guru's feet, eat of his prasad , the remnants of his food. Always meditate upon the Guru, always recite the mantra of the Guru. 76. The root of all meditation is the image of the Guru. The root of all worship is the Guru's feet. The root of all mantras is the word of the Guru. The root of all liberation, otherwise known as self- realization, is the Guru's grace (defined as do and get.) 95. In the morning remember the divine name in the brilliant lotus in the head, along with the Guru with two eyes and two arms, who grants the boons of freedom from fear and peace. 154. In a pure and beautiful place always one should perform the vows of purifying austerities. Even without understanding or in silence one can offer this recitation. (Swamiji's translation of the verses from "The Guru Gita" are used above.) And finally, I would like to thank Swamiji and Maa for giving us this goal to finish 108 recitations. Thank you for giving us such a noble goal, it was fun to do this as a group effort. I'm looking forward to more group chanting goals such as this. Maybe a 108 Chandi Path recitations !!! I hope I have all the books necessary to take part in the future recitations, or else, will just have to order them from the online bookstore !!! Jai Maa, Jai Thakur.... Jai RadheShyam, Jai SiyaRam Vithala, Vithala, Vithalaa, Maanja Vithala, Pandu Ranga Radhe Radhe
