Namaste Henny, Mentally, early morning ( not necessarily the same time ) and sometimes finish the day's total malas in the late evening. My breathing technique was taught to me many years ago ( over 30 years ) and fundamentally my awareness reminds me when it varies. The method is diaphragmatically, much like a baby. The repetitions sometimes become a meditative ( or contemplative ) experience and the only external reminder is the Guru bead or when in external consciousness noticing that many beads were passed.
