thirucciRRambalam

Meaning:

Why, wearing the head-garland on the head?

Why, holding up the flood of ganga on the twined hair?

Why, wound with the swaying skin of the tiger?

Why, tied the fierce snake as the belt over that?

Oh the Father at thiruvanycaikkaLam of colorful

gardens at makOthai on the beautiful shore of

the sea that undulates with the mount like strong

waves, hitting, roaring and making clockwise turn!

Notes:

1. This was the padhikam sung by sundharar,

requesting God to take him to Its holy abode.

Immediately he got the white elephant to return to

kailash.
