Continued....

After being humilated by Shakti, Shankar went home. But by insulting

Shakti, he had asked for trouble, and Shakti wasnt finished with him.

The next day he fell violently sick. A little girl came to him and

said Baba, arent you supposed to be arguing today? Shankar said, I

want to go, but I cant. I have no strength(Shakti). To which the girl

replied "You go around preaching there is no such thing as Shakti,

only Brahma. If you, an ordinary person have a Shakti, why not the

Supreme Being?". Shankar immediately fell to her feet, and Shakti gave

him Darshan. He then wrote Saundiri Laharya. Even now, Sri Yantra, the

main Yantra of Shakti is worshipped in his monastries.

But he still had a lesson to learn. Later, he went to the rive to

bathe. At the river Shivji was waiting for him in the form of a Chandal.

When he was bathing, the Chandal threw water on him. Shankar said,

careful Chandal! Shivji said "Maharaj, what am I doing wrong? This

water is Maya, your body is maya, so when the water hits you, that

also is Maya! "

Shankar should have realised who he was talking too, but his ego came

in the way. He replied "I am talking about your Sanskar, not your body".

To which Shivji replied "If my sanskar are in my body, arent they as

fake as my body? Besides, we are in the Ganga river, so even if I have

any evil sanskar, they should pure when they reach you."

At this Shankar fell on the feet of the Chandal, who came in his real

form. This was his last lesson- purity is internal, not external.

thanks shanracer, it was a good descirption about shakracharya and

shakti

surprisingly, Shankracharya, who preached Vedanta and called the whole

universe, as Maya, became such a great shakta in his later days.

Truth cant be hidden at any cost
