Guest guest Posted July 7, 2006 Report Share Posted July 7, 2006 We have a temple in Pudugramam,Kollengode-678506 Palakkad Dt,Kerala of Sri Vishalakshysametha Viswanathaswamy and Sri Meenakshisameth Sundareswarar. We did Chandi Homam last year and in May 2006 we did Maharudram. We want to do Kotiarchana of Devi with Kunkumam and flowers chanting Moolamantram. I request you to suggest a Moolamantram which should be (1) short to avoid mistakes when reciting and (2) it should bestow Sowbagyam. I felt that the essence of sloka 33 of Soundarya Lahari (Smaram yonim------huthisathai.)can be taken and we can do homam of 10 lakh sankya.We wish to make 108 as the unit and each pushpanjali can be priced a small amount so that everybody can take part in it. Moola Mantram can not be explained on this mail for several reasons. Normally Moola Mantram is granted by Guru after a certain process. In the instant case, the process is Baala, Panchadasi, Shodasi, Mahaa Paaduka etc which is as per Sanatana Dharma. Shodasi is a pass port to all Vidyaas. Therefore for the time being please take the assistance of some one who is well trained in this. With regard to Soundarya Lahari 33 sloka, this is one excellent one which helps the devotee to develop EISWARYA PRAPTHI and financial enrichment. Eiswarya prapthi - many people mistook it as wealth, which I desire to rectify. Eiswarya is the conjunction point for DEMAND AND SUPPLY and not merely financial enrichment. A kind of AANANDA or a state of Bliss can be equated to EISWARYA. The yantra associated with this is a perfect square and four circles at each joint part of the square outside. The beej for this yantra is SREEM. You may have to offer MUDGAANNA AND HONEY at the end to the Goddess. Soundarya lahari 33 refers to mahalaksmi. I have a very short mantr as suggstion which bestows tajas, wealth health prosperity etc. In our culture all forms of weath is considered as Lakshmi. like Sanatana lakshmi, virya lakshmi, vijayalakshmi, dhana lakshmi, Daanya lakshmi, grihalakshmi, Gajalakshmi etc gold and silver and metasl are considered as lakshmi, Bhoo devi is also lakshmi, All capacities as buddhi, memery ect are all lakshmi, Blood is also Lakshmi. The mahalakshmi mantra goes like this "om shrIm hrIm mahalakshmyai namah" for the homa lavanga nd elaichi is used in quantities.
