Guest guest
Sat Naam, GSS What Kundalini yoga calls "Triangle" is basically the traditional Hatha yoga pose "Downward Facing Dog" or Adho Mukha Svanasana. I have been taught a few subtle differences, such as in Triangle the hands and feet are closer together than you usually see in Down Dog. But it's basically the same posture. I feel like that particular difference is due to the context of the approach to working in the pose. In KY, we tend to hold it for a longer period of time (like in Kriya for Disease Resistance -- 5 min!) and in Hatha, it occurs most frequently as part of a vinyasa where you are flowing through the pose directly into others (like Sun Salutations).
