Sat Nam!

I'm here asking for your help about two words i'm not able to

understand (i'd like to know english better).

I've found a quote where there are some differences between "renunciate

yogis" and "householder yogis".

I suppose "renunciate yogis" are those yogis detached from daily life

(ascetic ones), am i right?

....and, what is a "householder yogi"?

Can you explain me the meaning of the word "houseolder"?

Thank you all in advance :-)

"Householder yogis" are those who live "in the world" and have

families, jobs, go to school--like most people--and who also practice

yoga . Some householders adhere to many of the same vows that

renunciants do.

The "renunciate yogis" are like monks and nuns in other religious

traditions; some of them might live in ashrams, some in a cave in the

mountains or in the forest. They do not marry and their "job" might

be to help the rest of us learn yoga and find enlightenment.

I hope this helps.
