Kenneth Lay's Analysis by G. Singh

Dear Friends,

I am back after long absence, and would like to share some thoughts

with you this time. I would like to use Kenneth Lay's (former Enron

Chairman) astrology chart to say few things to the astrology

students.

The birth data of Kenneth Lay is as follows for your reference:

April 15th, 1942

6:00 PM

Tyrone, Maryland

The very first thing I noticed when I studied his chart is that

mercury the ruler of 1st house and 10th house is debilitated in 7th

house in natal chart and is also debilitated in navamsa kundli.

Then how can a person become chairman of a company with a

debilitated 1st and 10 house ruler? I am asking this question to

all these vedic astrologers who scare you people when they see a

debilitated planet in your natal chart. But if you use nakshatras

then mercury is in its own nakshatra and jupiter's sub. So mercury

will give 1st house, 10th house and 7th house results during its

period. Also Mars the ruler of 3rd and 8th house is in 10th house is

in its own nakshatra. So mars is very good for is career being in

the 10th house in its own nakshatra. The Ken Lay's career success

started during Mars mahadasha in mid 80's. Then he entered rahu

mahadasha in 1989. Rahu is in 12th house from ascendant, not a good

placement according to vedic astrology. But rahu mahadasha gave him

billion's of dollars, although rahu in 12th house is considered bad

according to vedic astrology. Rahu is in 12th house but it is in the

nakshatra of 2nd and 9th house ruler venus, and venus is in 6th

house. So Rahu in his mahadasha will activate venus, the ruler of

2nd and 9th house located in 6th house. Rahu will give 2nd house,

9th house, and 6th house results during its mahadasha. So rahu gave

him money, name and fame (2nd house and 9th house results) but rahu

also gave him legal problems, disputes, litigations, court matters

etc (6th house results). He has both sun and moon in ketu's

nakshatra and ketu is in 6th house of legal battles, disputes, etc.

So the Rahu – Sun and Rahu – moon period was very bad for him. They

say rahu gives you a lot and sometimes takes away everything before

its mahadasha is over. This is exactly what has happened in Kenneth

Lay's case. Rahu / Ketu's transit on 1st house and 7th house during

rahu or ketu's mahadasha is a very difficult transit. They both were

afflicting his 1st house and 10th house ruler natal mercury in his

7th house, and has taken away his life. The antar dasha lord mars

was afflicted by Saturn in transit at the time of his death.

Dear Singh ji,

That was an interesting analysis. I have a couple of

comments:

- Though Budha is debilitated, he is vargottama as

well. Hence, effects of debilitation gets neutralized

- Though Rahu is in the 12th house, he is the lord of

the 6th and hence it is good for the native. Moreover,

Rahu is aspected by Sukra (lord of 2nd and 9th). And,

note that Sukra is a vargottama as well. This is a

good combination for money and luck.

- Ravi was bad form him (inspite of being vargottama)

as Ravi the lagnakaraka is the dispositor of 6th lord.

And, a dusthana (12th house) connects these two. That

caused the arrest during Rahu/Ravi period. Chandra's

period was also bad as Chandra is associated with

Ravi.

My Answer:- A noble astrologer should check whether the "so-called"

debilitated planet has crossed the degree of deep debilitation point or

not.While,your explanation is totally career related..Mercury is qt

strong In Dasamsa...& in Rashi chart, Mercury has already crossed the

deep debilitation point...& we cant say that "It is debilitated"..

Hello G. Singh,

Thanks for your analysis. I'm going to

look into the nakshatra subs more

from now on. Just wondering if you

used Tyrone, Missouri or Maryland? I

believe it was Missouri, though his chart

remains basically the same and doesn't

detract from your expert analysis.

Question: What kind of power do you

attribute to planets in early degrees,

such as this man's Mars? Or planets late

in degrees? How do you work with them

if you don't mind saying more? In my

own experience, they oftentimes seem

to end up being a house of cards and

lacking in true power or sustainable

success.

I haven't really looked at this man's

chart until tonight. But if he'd been

a client of mine, I would have been

concerned for him under Mars dasha

--that it contained the seeds of his

undoing despite his rising position.

Mars in zero degrees disposited by

a debilitated Mercury, Mars disposing

both his Sun and Moon in the 8H

of corporate funds and corruption, 12L

of losses and financial disasters

in the 8H of bankruptcy and death--

would be warning signs to me,

because the billions were never

his and his position of power was

based upon dubious accounting

methods and double-dealings. In

fact, it looks to me that it could be

argued that what he did, and how

he did it under Mars dasha, may

have directly led to his death

from either stress or foul play

under his 12H Rahu dasha. I

would have hoped I might have

warned him before he overplayed

his hand and saved billions of

dollars in losses for the average

investor who thought Enron was

on the up and up, and perhaps

saved him from prison. So I think I

would have been equally concerned

for him under Mars dasha despite

his outer riches, though I think

I understand how you see his

Mars helping him to get into

his high position in the first place.

I probably would not have predicted

his high position to begin with and

that's why I found your analysis
