Guest guest
When Mahaprabhu was staying in Prayag (Allahabad), Rupa and Vallabha went there to see Mahaprabhu for the first time. When they arrived they found that Prayag was overflooded by love of Krishna. There were throngs and masses of people following Mahaprabhu. They were chanting, dancing, offering obeisances, crying, laughing and moving along with the Sankirtan of the Lord. However, upon their arrival, Rupa and Vallabha stayed aloof in an uncrowded place and simply witnessed the spectacle. Why is that? Why didn't Rupa and Vallabha just jump into the celebration and join in the crowd of people following Mahaprabhu? Can anyone explain this? gHari
They had worked for the Muslim tyrants? Perhaps the second paragraph here explains their embarrassment: http://vedabase.net/tlc/1/en

I am getting thoughts from reading Teachings of Lord Caitanya This topic was inspired by page one, chapter one Teachings to Rupa Goswami
