Guest guest
Dear Veri: Yes you are right releasing stress is good and Ranjit Kaur gave you great sources of information. So I am going to answer from a different perspective. There's a reason why money isn't flowing in your life right now. And it isn't something to feel ashamed of, or rebel against or any of the negative reactions you might be experiencing. The stress comes as a reaction to these reactions. What is coming to you is deeper than that. It is a gift from the universe to look at yourself deeply and get to know that you are worth more than you think. I used to think that "I am worth more than I think" meant that I had to increases my fees. No. It only meant that I was not listening to my heart, I did not value my joy and my intuition, and as a result I did not contribute in conversations and to my community in a way that I needed to. I did not know that it mattered. I was robbing myself of what I needed to share. And as a result money stopped flowing. So here's how you start that process of discovery. Start by breathing and slowing down and step out of your stressed mind about money for a moment in meditation, just being the unaffected yet caring observer. Meditate and ask yourself what the most important thing for you is right now and trust your answer. Ask yourself where your joy really lies. I bet you it is something different from just making more money. Money comes as a result of magnetism and trusting/knowing that your joy will guide you. "Follow your bliss" Joseph Campbell used to say. That's what it means. Notice when you are working out of duty and when you are working out of joy. Shift to joy. So it's good to release stress but if you don't shift your thinking process to a heart process, you may end up releasing stress for the rest of your life, right? Enjoy the gift of the journey, and blessings, Awtar
Guest guest
Sat Nam Awtar: Thank you for this: I so identify with this feeling of discounting my intuition and the ideas that I might contribute to a group or just one other human being. The feeling is that someone else is wiser or has greater insight and that their input will be of much greater import than mine. This thinking comes from fear of not having the 'right' answer or looking (gadzooks!) stupid. You just imbued me with a knowing that I do have access to wisdom and knowledge. I am in transition from a 30 plus year in the insurance industry to teaching Kundalini yoga and what ever else I might be able to do in the field of healing. My house in for sale and with the sale of the house, I feel I can comfortably leave my job, I am teaching now, several classes a week, and watching some new doors open. I have an interview in 40 minutes at a local studio. Teaching is my calling, my joy, I was born in February and have a destiny of 8, so it comes naturally. This period of stepping out of the old skin and shining in the new is a bit trying. I will trust my joy, my heart's desire and my vision.
