Guest guest
dear friend ICAS is india's best astrology learning center and your learning from them and with good homework you can definitely LEARN astrology. learning astrology and becoming astrologer are two different things. most people who learn astrology do not become astrologers. most astrologers who predict based on their learning skills succeed only if they have vaak shuddhi, if not vaak siddhi. i personally believe that divine intutition plays a major role for becoming a successful astrologer. astrologers are also of two types. one who does is as a hobby in his or her freetime and the other a professional who predicts to eke his or her livelihood. you can easily learn astrology further and also practice astrology both as a hobby as well as a profesion but whether you succeed in it or not depend on your intutitive skills which will be developed by human freewill. with best efforts, you can develop these skills. few people carry those intuitive skills from their poorva janma which i dont see in your chart. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun vedic astrology, "thisismeena2000" <thisismeena2000 wrote: > > Dear sir, > > I am learning astrology from Inian Council of Astrological Sciences, > Delhi since August, 2005. Guest guest
dear friend so many books (both orient classics as well as modern research papers) gave various planetary combinations and houses which shall be looked at to know whether that native can/is a good astrologer. unfortunately, most of these are not true in reality, for as mentioned earlier, learning astrology is different practicing astrology is different and practicing astrology with excellent predictive skills is different. right from sage parashara to varahamihira they all laid down certain moral, physical and mental strengths besides having the knowledge of all samhitas, siddhantas and excellent mathematical strengths. in olden days of the guru-shishya parampara, the shishya used to live, breate, eat, drink and sleep in astrology day in and day out and all of them became great astrologers. later on the gurukul system was restricted to within the family members and hence great astrologers hailed from the same family name, generation after generation. such families are still in great respect even today. however, a couple of decades ago, several organisations have pooled up modern astrologers who started teaching astrology with scientific methodology and again astrology has gained much popularity. however, instead of looking at any yogas in the chart, i believe he following will make a good astrologer with excellent predictive skills: 1. the astrologer shall practice truth in thought, word and deed (trikarana suddhi) which is also called vaak suddhi. unless the astrologer speaks truth always and at all times, how can his predictions become true. it is as simple as that. 2. the astrologer must have learnt all samhitas, siddhantas, shastras and have excellent mathematical strenghts. this trait is found in most south indian astrologers even today. 3. the astrologer must lead an exemplary morally upright living style with saatvik qualities and do continuous meditation and yoga and develop divine intutitive skills or clairvoyance. 4. for a modern person, ICAS, Bharatiya Vidya Bhawan, SJC are good learning centres which would validate the astrological skills of the astrologers and hence pursuing further degrees would make the astrologer do continuous improvement and enhancement of his or her predictive skills. however, people take shelter under the relaxation of desha, kala, vartamana.... and cite the changed world scenario or the new world order and say that everything is fine and astrology is a free for all subject. this is how astrology is viewed by most newspapers, TV channels and websites so much so that astrologers started reading non-living objects like countries, houses, companies, stock markets and living non-humans like dogs, cats and all good and ugly creatures. some astrolgoers are giving even minute to minute predictions and hats off to them. unfortunately these days astrology has become a business, mainly due to so many gem dealers and other holy items sellers learning few elementrary principles of astrology and posing themselves as astrologers with a single objective of complimenting their sales. In delhi, an uneducated illiterate person who has set up a one room shop on the roadside is installing a STD booth, photocopier and also a computer with a cheap astro software and putting a board of astrology consultation available. so astrology is made available like panshops on every street. i have also seen a property broker in delhi who is a daily drinker, daily smoker and eats non-veg and lies all through the day and he is ALSO an astrologer because he is best at hoodwinking people in the name of astrology. on a rough estimate, there are around ONE LAKH WEBSITES who offer astrology paid services as on date which is ever increasing every day. so, if everyone wants to pursue astrology, they are welcome and i wish them all the best. why talk about the world. even in these , thousands of selfclaiming astrologers come every day but only a handful minority remain active with their continued consistency. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun vedic astrology, "M. Learn one well written book thoroughly and practice. Of course if you are serious do not ignore right conduct and japa of your deity. One can be sure to reap the benefit. Explore and practice makes a man perfect. Now Second part. You say you are a student of Praveen 2.That's fine.Do you think from rasi chart alone you can judge you will become good astrologer? If yes it can be only Hazardous guess work.At least Navamsa is needed if we apply the model of Dr Raman. Those who use Rasi chart alone do use Dasa bhukti analysis and transits mentally without expressing so. So naturally kundali furnished by you is not enough to predict. Lastly dear Sharma do not worry , I met two students from Allahabad who were highly qualified from Vidhya bhwan but expressed that they are not clear about fundamentals and were unable to proceed. So You are not alone.Be bold and put up your energy and follow the advice.Digest knowledge and refine by constant application.Hope this helps. wish you best of luck. || May all people be happy || OM TAT SAT R.C.Srivastava . swami_rcs mob 9412268768 http://www.cosmograce.com http://www.cosmograce.blogspot.com

Guest guest
Dear Group members, WHO so ever will study ,should acquire the knowledge of the subject. If the person reduce the same after reading, understanding will developer. Teaching helps to attain mastery over subject. But any worth-while prediction is possible if you develop intuition by regulated life and meditation.Prediction is an art and only god- gifted persons can do it( (study D-7,d-24 and finally D-9.Success will be indicated by D-10) there is no short cut. Guest guest
Dear sir, Thank u for your advice. I agree with u as u said just a lagna kundli or rashi kundli is not enough. My date of birth is 21st May, 1965, Time of birth is 12.05 AM and place is chandigarh (Punjab). I am really fond of this subject and not learning it as hobby. I am doing my regular puja at home. Other than that do u suggest any other mantra jaap to improve my skill and give good predictions. vedic astrology, "R.C.Srivastava" <swami_rcs wrote: > > > *|| OM MAHAGANAPATAYE NAMAH ||* > Dear Sharma ji, > Nameste, I agree with Pandit Arjun.I may say that every one can study > astrology > for now resources are available in open to all. This never happened in > past. Thanks to technology , have a software in your computer but study , > digest basics and start apply those rules learned to discover parameters and > exceptions that apply to that rule and go on integrating principals topic > wise. > Learn one well written book thoroughly and practice. > Of course if you are serious do not ignore right conduct and japa of your > deity. > One can be sure to reap the benefit. > Explore and practice makes a man perfect. > Now Second part. > You say you are a student of Praveen 2.That's fine.Do you think from rasi > chart alone > you can judge you will become good astrologer? Guest guest
Panditji I wanted to hear your views from an astrological angle. 10th lord, second lord etc to see combinations that make one a very good astrologer with excellent predictive ability. Sorry I was not clear. thanks for your detailed explanation regarding other factors. Note: I am an astrologer (not professional, but a serious one, never have charged money) and wanted to hear your viewpoint. Guest guest
dear sharmaji there are so many combinations published in various books on predicting a successful astrologer from the chart. however, my understanding of a successful astrologer with excellent predictive skills would be looked on the following parameters: 1. strong mercury 2. strong jupiter 3. strong 2nd lord 4. strong 10th lord 5. strong 9th lord 6. strong 5th lord 7. placement of the above in the nakshatras of mercury or jupiter 8. relation between the above by way of conjunction or aspect. however, human freewill can prevail over the fate and a person not having any of the above can also become a great astrologer if he meditates a lot and develop divine intuition. a king who lives in bhog can become a sage and a rakshas can also become a sage. similarly an ordinary person can also become a great astrologer with his freewill. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun vedic astrology, "M.
