This is called in the Tantras the soul of the mantras [mantrajiva]. The TantrarAja says, "The three qualities are the cause of tejas, of the forms of Sakti, and of the universe. The cause of these [qualities] is [Devi]; that samyaktva [rightly] means the attainment of perpetual contemplation of the nature of That.
