Thirumangai AzhwAr .

Mahaa Desikan. He was born on Aadi Poora Nakshathram and is known

as an amsam of ANDAL.He lived number of years at ANDAL's avathAra

dhivya dEsam , SrivilliputthUr.This Azhagiya Singar is the One , who

created the Sri Sannidhi Aahnikam . He reigned for 17 years and 1 Month

( Nov 21 , 1811 to December 20, 1828).

 

3. HH the 30th Pattam Azhagiya Singar: Sri SrinivAsa Yahteendhra MahA Desikan:

He reigned for 5 years and 6 Months( from March 15, 1837).

He has blessed us with many divine compositions .

 

4. HH the 37th Pattam Azhagiya Singar: SrI VeerarAghava Yatheendhra

Mahaa Desikan : PiLLaippAkkam Azhagiya Singar . He reigned only for

11 Months from January 31, 1899 . He blessed us with 16 divine compositions.

 

5. HH the 38th pattam Azhagiya Singar: Sri SrinivAsa SaThakOpa Yatheendhra

Mahaa Desikan : Thirukkudanthai Azhagiya Singar ( b.Jan 1860) ; He was

elected by the Ahobila Matam sishyAs to sit on the throne of Sri Matam ,

when the AchArya seat of Sri Matam was empty ofr five and half yrears .

The previous Azhagiya Singar did not appoint a successor at the time of

His ascent to Sri Vaikuntam in December 1899 . Many wanted to become

the next Azhagiya Singar . An election ws held by the sishyaas and

Thirukkudanthai Swamy was chosen to occupy the Sri matam throne.

He reigned from July 17 , 1905 to May 12, 1909. He stayed permanently

at Narasimha Puram during His reign to worship MalOlan and the 4 previous

Azhagiya Singars having their BrundhAvanam there . His reign was for
