Guest guest Posted July 17, 2006 Report Share Posted July 17, 2006 Temple consecrated Madurai, July 15: The consecration ceremony of the ancient Inmaiyilum Nanmai Tharuvar Temple was performed amidst chanting of vedic hymns here on Friday. Thousands of devotees offered worship to Lord Shiva on the occasion. The temple had been renovated after 10 years. The consecration poojas started at 4.30 am, followed by the procession of the presiding deities to the yagasala. Later, holy water was taken in pots to all the towers and the consecration performed. More than 50 vedic panditis from all over the state participated in the special poojas.
