Guest guest
||Jai ramakrishna|| Dear Shree Richard & Other members, This January i had been to Puri, as a pilgrim & over there, near the sea beaches & near the Jagannath Temple, i found plenty of Shank (Conch) sellers...I asked one of them, if they have Valampuri/Valmuri/Dakshinavarti Shankh or not....They took out some & showed them to me...& each were priced between 300-800... Though I had money, i did hesitate to buy one..So i had a word with a Puja Panda of the Jagannath Temple & asked him that the Daskhinavarthi conchs that r sold in the city r real or not... I was qt surprised with their reply... Wut he told me,"See, there is not a single Dakshinavarthy Shankh in the city....wut they sell is cut through machines & sold....so...people r cheated"....To this he added,"Dakshinavarthi Shankh is Vishnu..if the Shankh desires to come to your place...it will come...& when it will wish to move away from your place, it will move.."... So friends...please talk to Shree Richard before buying any Dakshinavarthy... Thanq, With Humbleness, Wish u all success,
