But I personally would advise diamond for your Lagnesh, Venus, in the 9th. Really the only important thing about a gem is quality... no defects. After that comes size, and size is determined by "budget" not by "pandit". Some people throw around numbers like 7 carats, 5 carats, with out a clue as to the availability and value of such a gem in Jyotish quality. The result is that people buy junk in the required weight (it would be funny if it wasn't so sad). They might advise, "get a 2 carat pearl" and the client goes and gets a $10 cultured (imitation) of correct weight. But mostly people buy "junk" that is inauspicious rubbish! No stone is BETTER than a bad stone. Rgds, Richard
Guest guest
Shriman!! Thank you I would like to have a good Burma Ruby and one good yellow saphire. Regarding Diamonds, I have excellent whites (FL)(D-E) and various colored diamonds (orange) (flawless) - 50 points and various smalls in almost all colors. Some are in a necklace that I made fr my wife. But i am going to dismantle it anyway to redesign it. I also have a 35 point yellowish green. Again FL. All are naturally colored. Do you think a really flourescent Mogok of 1 Caret would do? where can I get it? What would it cost? Can I get it sent to India without hassles? As far as I know Thai rubies are darker in color. I prefer stones that speak to one. What color should the yellow saphire be? again a 1-2 caret piece. Ceylon? what will i cost? The main issue would be getting it into India where I will be the whole of September. Note: Particular demigod preside over exceptionally fine diamonds of various colors. White diamonds of this standard are ruled by Varuna, lord of the oceans. Yellow diamonds are ruled by Indra, the heavenly king. The Maruts, the wind gods, rule copper-hued diamonds, the greenish diamonds are ruled by Surya, the sun-god. The fire-god, Agni, rules brown-colored diamonds, and blue tinged diamonds are ruled by the lord of ancestors, Aryama. Do you think a really flourescent Mogok of 1 Caret would do? where can I get it? We just sold a 1.05 ct for $7,000 and a 1.56 ct for $10,000, both set in our gold talismans. What color should the yellow saphire be? again a 1-2 caret piece. Ceylon? what will i cost? ---The best question is HOW MUCH WILL YOU SPEND? Then I can tell you what is available in natural good-color Yellow Sapphire of top quality. The main issue would be getting it into India where I will be the whole of September. ---Yes, that is the point. You must come here to Bangkok, or send a person to pick up, OR, we can send to you outside India by UPS. BTW: I don't recommend wearing diamond at the same time as Ruby & Y/Sapp as they both conflict with Venus. Venus-Diamond is your Lagna-mani Best rgds, RSB
