dear friends

siyar singhi or jackal's horn or hood is the only item in the world

which made the scientists shocked for not having any scientific

reason for the growth of hair in a dead object. in tantra this is

used to protect the dwelling place from all evils and blackmagic.

in hindi siyar means jackal and singhi means horn. a jackal normally

has no horn but when it hoots facing downwards, a small bunch of

hair with a horn emerging from its body at the forehead. this is

taken for and is called siyar singhi. it is always kept in

vermillion (sindoor), and its hair grows automatically. in the

original siyar singhi, the colour of the hair on the day it is

plucked out of jackal is one and the new hair grown (extension of

the same hair) would be in another colour which is clearly visible.

this is the clear distinction to identify a fake and a real one. any

place where this is kept, all ghosts, spiritis, devils, evils and

negative forces just flee and run away. i have done exorcism to

several houses using this holy item. suppose a house is haunted by

devils and is uninhabited, you just keep this in that house, do a

havan (holy fire) and then the house is free of all evils and ready

for occupation. since this is a very rare product with the most

miraculous feature of hair growing on its own, it has become

priceless. also the hair on the siyar singhi gets combed naturally

on its own in a particular style.

in 2004 i was fortunate to get this genuine siyar singhi gifted by

a sadhu after serving him and the hair on it was 2.5cm then and now

it has grown by 6.5cm in two years and the total length of the hair

is now 9cm. a photograph of this siyar singhi is posted in the

photos section. there are few smaller ones also whose hair is still

growing every year and science has no explanation how hair can grow

on a dead object. a word of caution: it is no exaggeration if i say

that 100% siyar singhi sold in the market are fake, for it has

become extinct and only if those collectors who are having these for

long are willing to offer, one will get a genuine one. even reputed

websites have been found selling fake siyarsinghis which have some

hair pasted in a mud ball with glue and god knows whether this hair

was collected from a barber shop or pig or dog. bringing such fake

things will give negative results to the natives because of the bad

luck the used hair brings.

there was another reason why this jackal's horn is famous in the

west. according to christian belief (as written in the Bible)

jackal is the mother of devil and hence any native having jackal's

horn is not haunted by the devils.

with best wishes and blessings

Dear Arjun ji,

I got four of them which are exactly as you mentioned.

They are of two kinds male and female. The females are

smaller, and carry a hood and males are larger and

carry a projection ( Like a thick thorn).

Both grow in Vermillion. Fake ones can be easily

identified because of their rough texture and most of

all they never grow.

Best Regards

A.J

PS: They really work as described by you. I have

tested them too.

dear alokji

i am very happy to note that you too are fortunate to get these

genuine ones. these are so great objects that by their mere

presence in the house, one is protected from all visible and

invisible enemies. even though i have accepted it as a miracle,

till date i too could not figure out how hair can grow in a dead

object. if you can supplement any further information, please do

share.

Dear Arjun Ji,

I also agree with you regarding their power and

influence. One more information that was given was

that they belong to particular breed of "Siyar" or

"Jackal". This species is described as " Motiya". This

species has a special tone which is identified by

tribal people. The alpha male carries the " Singi".

It is said that the leader dies after a regular

outbrusts of strange voices.

An interesting thing which I discovered when i was in

Punjab was a Local phrase which is related to this

sacred powerful object. It is a common practice and

belief that a person whose desires materialize without

Hassels must be carrying a "Gidar Singi".

"Gidar" is Punjabi word for "Siyar".

In Rajasthan many people in "Baniya" community use

this as a tool to attract Laxmi. They cut of the

hairs of Singi on Deepawali every year. They believe

that this way they ward off the demons by doing this

and increase the inflow of positive powers.( I never

did it because i am still skeptical about it)

As far as hair growth is concerned i have a

interesting test to reveal. Just put the singi in

Mercury or Parad. It is believed that Singi eats the

Mercury inside the Sindoor.

Best Regards,

Alok Jagawat

PS: The Indian wild life authorities have put a ban on

sale and purchase of this item.

dear alok ji

the objective of the group would be served when we all share more

information on each sacred object like we are doing.

what all you wrote are true and happening and i heard all of these

from the northern states. however, this is unheard in southern

parts.

in my understanding the indian government has listed out certain

animals under protected species and trading in such animal products

is only prohibited e.g. deer skin and tiger skin are now banned

which were earlier freely sold which were mainly bought by

meditatating saatvik sadhaks including the shankaracharyas. can you

give me any link or website where we can find this information on

prohibition which would help us greatly. several webstores and

shops in india are still selling siyarsinghis and billi ki jer and

other animal items albeit most of them are fake. for example,

trading of ivory is banned but still hundrds of elephants are reared

as pets by individuals in kearla, karnataka and some eastern

states. after the natural demise of these elephants, are the

elephant owners not making available this ivory to the discerning

customers. since in this group we discuss so many animal products,

i would appreciate if you give more information on the indian

government laws and acts which have prohibited trading in which

item. it is a different matter that we are not trading and are only

highlighting the signficance of these items!
