Guest guest
Dear Beloved Family, Hope you all took a moment to look at the beautiful movie about our most beloved Swamiji, lovingly made by Surath. You can see it at shreemaa.org There is a part there that says something like -- "You could set your watch by Swamiji's daily tapasya -- getting up pre-dawn in the morning and doing homa and puja and path..." One time, Swamiji was telling us that when He was learning to do Puja, He learnt to do it so as to keep all the utensils and offerings and flowers in the same way each time. One day, His Guru made Swamiji do the puja - blindfolded - and He could do it (i am guessing with ease!). There is so much beauty in perfection, in discipline, in tapasya -- and that beauty is love and that is God.... and words can't describe our blessing to be able to catch a little glimpse of this through the life of Swamiji. Jai Sahib Sadhu! Jai Swamiji! Jai Maa! ramya
Guest guest
Namaste` Ramya, Thank you for this post. The efficiency is amazing. I also loved the part where Swamiji talks about applying his skills to the things that really inspire him, and about falling in love, with Sanskrit, culture, rituals. The following quote came to my attention earlier today and reminded me of that part of the video, and in fact what I hope for in my own life. Jai Maa "Let the beauty you love, be what you do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground." --Kabir , Ramya Srinivasan <n_ramya108 wrote: > > Dear Beloved Family, > > Hope you all took a moment to look at the beautiful > movie about our most beloved Swamiji, lovingly made by > Surath.
