The tradition represented by Madabusi Subramaniam follows the family link of Yogi Raj Shyama Charan Lahiri, his son Teenkori Lahiri and the grand son Satya Charan Lahiri. The four progressive initiation of Kriya Yoga was received by Madabusi Subramaniam from Satya Charan Lahiri in 1973.
