Respected members,

I am an Aries Lagna native with Sun in 6th house in parivartana with

Mercury in 5th house.

My Planetary position is like below:

Lagna: Aries

1st House: Saturn

5th house: Moon, Mercury, Ketu, Mars

6th House: Sun

7th House: Jupiter and Venus

11th house: Rahu

I want to wear Ruby and see if it improves my career prospects. I am

not having any growth in my career and want to take leadership

positions. So , can u pl. suggest if wearing ruby ring will improve my

chances or what shall I do if not?

Thx

One astrologer's opinion:

It's helpful to provide birth information, as the current dasha period can be

useful in making the decision on the choice of gem. Mars, Jupiter and the Sun are

your primary options. Sun in 6th is not necessarily a high leadership position

even when strengthened. You might also want to consider strengthening Jupiter,

as it is the karaka of wealth, in the 7H house of business, and aspects the

11H of gains from the profession and the 3H of enterprise--the people houses.

Jupiter is the planet of 'growth' and might be helpful in broadening your contacts

and influence. Mars is also well-placed but has to contend with Ketu. Dasha

period is important and may be the determining factor, especially if you are

in Sun, Mars or Jupiter period. Currently, Jupiter is transiting your 7H

and shows your interest in expanding your sphere of leadership and influence.

In the meantime, Saturn transiting the 4H in Cancer and aspecting your

ascendant can indicate the stagnation. Saturn finishes its stay in Cancer

in July of 2007, with a brief stay in Leo between November and January.

This means you have natal Saturn of potential delays being aspected by

transiting Saturn of delays, and Saturn is 10L and 11L of professional

success and income from the career, most likely indicating the lack of

growth. Dashas information would be helpful.

Best wishes....Haizen Paige

Om Sairam

Dear Friend,

Pls post your birth details to check your dasamsa.

Also pls specify some imp events in life and what you do for living.

Just wearing Ruby will not help you.

Your dasa has to be analysed...BYW your lagna lord is in trines also .

Saturn in delabitated in Lagna ?? I think that could be the main cause of worry.

The best Remedy is to chant Mantras rather than just wearing gems.

regards,

Kaartik Gor

To complete my answer on gem recommendations.

17 Aries 07 (Lahiri) on the ascendant.

Comments on Natal Chart:

Aries rising gives the desire for leadership

and the chance of independence and authority.

Saturn in Aries is your 10th lord placed in

the 1st house of Aries. This indicates strong

ambitions, and you are career-oriented.

However, Saturn is not considered well-placed

in Aries and you may feel like you have to

prove yourself a great deal to others or put

in much extra effort to get the results you

want. It can also mean you will end up going

a long way in life because you are willing to

take responsibility and build something from

the ground up. While you wouldn't want to

wear a Blue Sapphire for Saturn, you can

help Saturn function better indirectly by

strengthening your Mars, the dispositor of

Saturn, and your ascendant lord. Mars will

benefit from support because Mercury as

the 6th lord of potential health problems,

work demands and conflicts is afflicting Mars.

This aspect can indicate over-work or efforts

that could adversely affect your basic health

and ability to do things.

Sun as indicator of primary health and vitality is

in the 6th house of potential health problems

and can also use a boost. Possible heart

vulnerabilities, digestive or intestinal problems

are shown somewhere in your life-time. Giving

the Sun a boost with a mantra or a gem would

also be beneficial. So wearing the Ruby isn't

out of the picture.

Jupiter is a good planet for you and helps

bring out the better qualities of Saturn, which

it aspects, in your business life and public

relations or politics. Rahu's aspect to Jupiter

from the 11th house of gains through your

profession, indicates your great desire for

influence and wealth. The test of your chart

is how much it will allow you to rise in life or

whether you are being overly-ambitious.

Only you will know. The benefits to you will

come very much through your own efforts,

your focus and dedication, your desire to

willingly serve.

Moon as 4th lord of home and family is in

close aspect from Ketu, showing possible

domestic burdens or frustrations that could

have fallen upon you. You can lessen the

malefic impact of Ketu by your participation

or donations to charities and help others. This

aspect is important to understand because

you are running your Moon dasha until

August of 2009. After that, Mars dasha begins

and lasts until 2016. That's why strengthening

your Mars at some time in the future will be

beneficial to you during this coming period

of great enterprise and independence. Mars

dasha is likely to be when you have the

leadership position you seek.

Review of points made above:

Ideally you would want to strengthen the

primary functional benefics in your chart:

Mars as 1st house lord of overall success

(Red Coral); Sun as karaka of health and

vitality and leadership potential; and Jupiter

as karaka of wealth and 9th lord of the house

of success and good fortune. I think it would

feel good to start with Jupiter's gem (Yellow

Sapphire or Topaz), and when you are able

to do so financially, add the gems for Mars

(Red Coral) and for the Sun (Ruby or Garnet).

These measures will strengthen the most

important planets in your chart. I would not

suggest a gem for Venus because it is

considered an unfriendly planet for Aries

rising, and by strengthening it you might be

more tempted romantically or emotionally

outside of your marriage, if you happen to

be married.

Other things you can do: Do a propitiation

for Mercury, Rahu and Ketu, because all

three are afflicting the planets I've mentioned

in your chart. The propitiations are written

down below, and I've included the mantras

you can use to strengthen the planets we've

discussed here as a substitute for the gems.

They can be just as powerful and sometimes

more.

If you've been helped by this report, pass on

this kindness to others. For healing to take

place, there should always be some type of

energy exchange in life.

Good luck, Haizen Paige

Meaning of the Sanskrit Words

Om means "Universal Consciousness, God."
