Hare Rama Krishna,

Like human beings, corporations also have a life full of success and

failures.

What are the vedic rules for acertaining time of birth for

Corporations (& countries, projects etc for that matter).

Here's a scenario for example:

Company A is bought-out by new owners and named Company B.

The deal is signed on Monday the 5th of May 2006 2 10:15AM

Company A's last day of operation is Friday the 30th of June.

The first day of operation for the new company B begins on Monday the

3rd of July 2006.

In the view of the learned astrologers which of the following

dates/times should form the basis of Lagna chart for this entity.

a) The time when the deal was finailsed i.e. Monday the 5th of May

2006 2 10:15AM...or

b) The time when company A ceased to exist i.e. close of business

Friday the 30th of June @ 5:31PM...or

c) The time when company B began its operations after the weekend on

Monday 3rd of July 2006 @ 8:30AM...or

d) The midnight of Friday i.e the 1st of July @ 12:01AM

This question is for academic purposes. Any insights/pointers will be

highly appreciated.

Thank your for your time and attention to this request.

Humbly yours,

M.Harichand

Most times are unknown though some corporations have rectified

birth times by business astrologers. The default time used for

corporations is around 10 AM, as that places the position of the

Sun in the 11H of corporations (not the 10H of business).

One astrologer's opinion:

If you have the actually time of the signing, that would represent the

birth chart of the new business after the change of ownership.

No.

When the new business opens its doors and meets the public for the first

time is also important. It's preferable, if possible, that after the change

and reorganization of the business, the doors open when the Moon is on

the increase--between the New and Full Moon--and in good aspects to

the planets of commerce, Mercury and Jupiter. This can mean a gap

of time between the period when the signing for the business took place

and later on when the doors re-open. I would view these as two separate

moments when the astrology of both are important but separate events.

We in South India consider the captioned business commencement time as the birth time .For such mukurtha we insists unafflicted 3rd & 8th houses,in addition to the laid down principals in the mukurtha sasthra (time and space would be a constraint to discuss at full length).
