Guest guest
Namaste Beloved Divine Family, I am just now listening to Devi Mandir broadcast -- you can go to it from shreemaa.org web site. It is sooooo cooooool!!!! Swamiji is chanting the CHANDI by the homa - and we can hear him saying "Om Aim Hrim Klim Chamundayai Vicce" -- He is doing Navarna Vidhi now. In the evenings, Swamiji does different scriptures by the fire - yesterday He lead chanting of Gayatri Sahasranaam. He also explained meaning of Gayatri and how Gayatri Devi manifested Herself --- it was so beautiful...and now everyone every where can hear for themselves and share in this learning -- share in the joy of worship - and hold hands to come closer to God. Please do tune in and ENJOY!!!! By the way, in the evenings after chanting, there is arati and somedays you can hear Maa singing.... See you there! Jai MAA! ramya :-)
Guest guest
Dear Ramya and all, after reading your post, I immediately tried to listen to the broadcast: I got Quicktime, used the url from the website, and waited; the program said 'live broadcast' and then started 'configuring'. After a while it said 'timed out 4500' and that was that. I thought perhaps my timing was wrong, so after last night I made a second attempt this morning, but got the same reaction. I don't know what I am doing wrong, or perhaps the broadcast cannot be received in Europe or something? Does anyone know how to (con)figure this out? with love, Henny , Ramya Srinivasan <n_ramya108 wrote: > > Namaste Beloved Divine Family, > > I am just now listening to Devi Mandir broadcast -- > you can go to it from shreemaa.org web site. Guest guest
Dear Sadumaa, Henny, Nanda and everybody, i just talked to a person involved in the seva of setting up the broadcasts and asked about your questions. The broadcasts are available on a limited basis so sometimes if many people are listening it is hard to get a connection -- but these issues are being ironed out as we write -- so stay tuned and we'll give you an update. It is BEYOND amazing to see how much seva is going into making these broadcasts possible -- there are people working day and night (literally) - getting the equipment and right code -- to make it possible for everyone to learn and share together! My prayers that their sincere efforts will very soon make it seemless for us to be together praying, sharing and contributing for peace and harmony everywhere! Jai MAA! Guest guest
thank you, I understand. I appreciate the time and effort that must be involved in getting something like this off the ground, and am very grateful to those who are working so hard for us. If there is anything I can do to help, please let me know, with love, Henny , "n_ramya108" <n_ramya108 wrote: > > Dear Sadumaa, Henny, Nanda and everybody, > > i just talked to a person involved in the seva of setting up the broadcasts and asked about > your questions. Guest guest
Namaste Henny and Everybody, Thanks so much Henny for your grateful heart! :-) I think one way we can all help is to contribute financially -- based on our life circumstances and capabilities. My little understanding of technology is that there is definitely investments that need to be made in infrastructure, equipment etc -- to make it possible for all of us to view and learn and share and enjoy -from the comfort of our homes! Maa was telling us one day how Her family used to go to a temple near their house and even if they went every single day -- They would never go empty handed. She said even if it was only one rupee - They would offer it at the temple. She was explaining how it was part of the culture as She was growing up. Rich or poor you must always put something in the Temple offering plate. To get the full fruit of our karma, when we go to a temple, when a priest prays for us, we have to give something -- offer something in return. Same holds true when we get a learning from a teacher - Be it through online classes, broadcasts or web cam. By making an offering we are helping support the dharma and showing our gratitude to make such teachings possible and sustainable -- and completing and enhancing our own learning and spiritual lives! Thank you so much Henny for your question. Jai MAA! ramya , "henny_v_i" <henny_v_i wrote: > > thank you, I understand.
