Guest guest
OM NAMAH SIVAYA Hi, Eric. great name by the way. i like you have found this group also to be very beneficial to my practices. though i must admit since joining my dictionary has been getting a work out as it seems there is a tendency for some to be a little sesquipedalian as well as to be pleonastic at times.(just trying to fit in :>) while i certainly am no one to give advice, i also have noticed that as my sadhana has increased i need less sleep and also am eating much less than before. and i also experience that after a few days of little sleep i seem to have catch up days. it seems natural to me as my body seems to be adjusting to the different habits and constitution that comes with spiritual practice. i just try to relax and go with the flow. the best advice i ever got from someOne who would know is, "Do whatever is in your heart, Love God, you cannot fail, and keep going!" That was my Mother's advice. i just try to remember that Divine Mother is leading us, we are not really in control so the best we can do is put forth the effort and try to follow Her lead. and it seems less painful that way. -eric JAI MA , "Eric Otto" <eottoe2001 wrote: > > > > Hi All - > > I've been doing yoga for about 19 months largely as a result of this > group. Guest guest
Hi EC - I also have a problem with being redundantly pleonastic, but I don't really like taking about it. It can be embarrassing, I know. Your mother and Llundrub are right. I am going to just accept and allow this to go forward and see where it leads me. If I need to sleep, I will just sleep and trust that body is doing what it needs to do. Thank you, I will follow your mother's advice. Sincerely, Eric PS My maternal grandmother was Swedish by the way. Glad you like my name. , "ecjensen_us" <ecjensen_us wrote: > > OM NAMAH SIVAYA > > Hi, Eric. great name by the way. i like you have found this group > also to be very beneficial to my practices. though i must admit > since joining my dictionary has been getting a work out as it seems > there is a tendency for some to be a little sesquipedalian as well > as to be pleonastic at times.(just trying to fit in :>) > > while i certainly am no one to give advice, i also have noticed that > as my sadhana has increased i need less sleep and also am eating > much less than before. and i also experience that after a few days > of little sleep i seem to have catch up days. it seems natural to > me as my body seems to be adjusting to the different habits and > constitution that comes with spiritual practice. i just try to > relax and go with the flow. the best advice i ever got from someOne > who would know is, "Do whatever is in your heart, Love God, you > cannot fail, and keep going!"
