looking for a group such as this and I believe I have found it. You

bring forth some excellent points and I truly appreciate this. Please

continue to make whatever corrections as I welcome them.

Kev, its "Thank You Instead". Applaud you for being so open, sharing

and receptive; above all, your humility. You know what? All are

teachers and students here. We all teach one another something new just

about everyday. Glad you found this group as its wonderful having

someone like you around. You have great points and wisdoms yourself so

keep 'em coming as they're highly welcome too.

I am not an Indian in this birth and I often have trouble with some of

the Indian terminology and meaning.

Doesn't matter whether we're Indian, Injun, Timbuctooli, whatever. Its

the kindredness that bounds us all together, though from different paths

but all heading for one similar summit. Anyway, Indian and Sanskrit

terminology takes time to learn. Would u believe it can also take many

lifetimes to master Sanskrit? In India, there are about 1 million (so

to speak) different languages/tribals/nomadics/lingos/slang/dialects and

sub-dialects that can have our heads spinning whether its north, south,

in Bengal, wherever.

I do try my best though and maybe with everyone's help at this site I

will gain a great understanding.

With your help we can also gain better understanding of other

perspectives.

with or plan to work with.

Good on you Kev. It will be wonderful seeing improvements in the kids

you're planning to work with or help with rudraksha. This would also be

great dharma and seva on your part. Perhaps begin them on 5 mukh?

It is the most fascinating thing I have ever seen. I am hoping to bridge

the boundary between the Vedic ritual or Sandscript prayer as many

people in America will just not use these beads if they have to do this.

Understand this and can't agree more. Don't worry, the way will open up

before you, just when u least expect it. The appropriate "balancing or

fusing the two cultures" will occur when you're truly ready. Meanwhile,

don't brainstorm too hard, sometimes this creates blocks instead :)

I know people in my presence feel the rudraksha as several individuals

have inquired about them. I have directed them to the Rudra Center.

Very nice of you to mention this.

> As far as Barbara is concerned here is what I actually said:"I was

only attempting to help this wonderful young lady." I did not say nice I

said wonderful and everyone is wonderful in their own right.

So are you, God's child, God's own.

You (Barbara) touched my heart as I enjoyed what you had to say and I

decided to respond. I personally do not see 69 as old

Great one, Kev. We're only as old, or young, as we wanna feel or

believe.

by any means and here is why. When I was 16 my sister had a dance

instructor in her 80's she was more flexible, more bright and energetic

than anyone I knew both young and old. I asked her if it was from

dancing all these years and she told me no it was from yoga and she was

the one who led me on the path to yoga many years ago. Just thinking of

her creates a vision in my mind from that time like it was that day so

many years ago.Thank you both for getting me involved in this wonderful

group.

Yoga ties in with rudraksh becos in a sense, Rudraksh is "Yoga" itself

too and I'm not referring to just physical exercises, asanas or

meditation. Anyway, all forms of Yoga have the potential to create

transformations. Hence you see all classical lineage holders wearing

tons of rudraksh and in certain cases, Gauri Shankar Kantha Malas.

Becos this helps accelerate transitions towards tranformation.

Ommms.
