Guest guest
Dear Members, Suppose Lagna is Vargottama. Leo 15.52, Sun is in 11th house with Mercury in Gemini . But now though the Lagna is Vargottam but in Navamsha both The Sun and Mercury move to 6th house in Capricorn. I am curious to know What would the effects be of The Sun to native in this case as it has lost some/much of its dignity. In Navamsha the depositor of Sun ie. Saturn is sitting in the 7th in own house ie. Acquarius. Bhaskar.
Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji To me, Vargottam indicates some definity in planet's attributes. For example- if mercury is in kumbha in both rashi / D9, then its attributes are definite, per kumbha rashi. Many takes this as point of strength as well. In my opinion, it has less to do with strength and more to do with its certainity in terms of attributes. It is not going to make malefic into benefic (or vice versa).Yes, in some sense, certainity can be linked to strength. Coming to your specific query - LL in 6th house in D9, brings in some weakness (as AL then becomes 11th house from which it is in 8th); but makes native with strong determination to overcome odds. Mercury being 2nd lord in 6th (is Ok - for 5th from 2nd; but from 11th it becomes 8th so not conducive for 11th house). Yes, sun's dispositor strength in kumbha is important. In my view, here saturn / sun forms 2/12 relations and do not transform energy to each other. However, saturn in 7th house (in its own sign) will safeguard marriage and will bless native with matured spouse. (please modify the interpretation per other planets -specially placement of venus being 7th karaka). regards / Prafulla Gang In order to live free and happily you must sacrifice boredom. It is not always an easy sacrifice. > > bhaskar_jyotish (AT) (DOT) co.in > Thu, 20 Jul 2006 10:17:13 -0000 > > Vargottam Lagna. > > Dear Members, > > Suppose Lagna is Vargottama. Guest guest
Shri Parfullaji. Both the mails by You are informative in quality.I will go through Your explanations again. You were talking of 7th natural karak ie, Venus. In natal it is sitting in 9th and in Navamsha it is in 5th. Navamsha depositor which is Jupiter® is in 6th in Natal with Sat® in own house Capricoen and here in Navamsha the Jupiter is again sitting in 5th.I am really confused as to the results what Jupiter has to give to this native. This is the same standard horoscope I had given details previously in one mail. 28.6.1961 10.14am Eluru 16.45N and 81.09E Thank You. Guest guest
Dear Bhaskar ji Saturn being 7th lord in 6th house (bad) - but in 7th in kumbha (Yes, I referred my comment with reference to your earlier post) in D9 is balancing. That is why, I asked to refer venus (and also must see 7th from venus) for assessment of 7th house related issues. Venus in 9th house (7th from tula - good and 12th from taurus - BTW, I do not consider 10th lord in 9th as good) and in dhanu navamsa is bit less preferred (passion going into fiery house), but balancing again being in 3/11 relationship with 7th lord saturn. I consider ketu in 7th house again for quite balancing spouse (ketu works as catalyst and warrants dharma compliance from spouse for successful relationship). Mars aspecting 7th and 8th both needs to be evaluated for manglik dosha. I think, I have been able to put down most pointers for 7th house (except that i have not touched UL and A7 now). My predictive skills are bit unexplored for past 6 / 7 years, so excuse me for stopping one step short of prediction. regards / Prafulla Gang In order to live free and happily you must sacrifice boredom.
