Since there was such helpful response to my previous question about

homa prasad, I have one more question -- I wonder if anyone has an

answer on this.

For a couple of years I have had on my altar very unusual prasad that

I received from having a Hanuman puja performed at Sankat Mochan

Temple in Varanasi. It is a quite heavy folded up leaf (obviously

with some ingredients stuffed inside) covered all over with bright

orange powder. It looks kind of like a betel nut package, but without

the silver coating that they usually have.

I searched online using the temple name to see if I could find any

information about this unusual prasad, but had no luck. I also e-

mailed the puja service that I used, but did not receive a reply. Has

anyone on this group seen prasad like this?

Thanks for any replies!
