Guest guest
Sat nam, Since I see so many good health tips here that even holistic practitioners don't always come up with - wonder if anyone has any good idea? I have been taking a super probiotic -20 billion particles of lactobicillus and bifido bifidum and one other that I forget. I know the usual dietary guidelines for candida, and am conforming probably as much as I can. Trying to eliminate sugar (not complete). So far 3 weeks, no improvement. Any suggestion appreciated. thank you so much, Kartar kaur
Guest guest
Sat Nam Kartar Kaur, being that you mentioned that you already knew the dietary guidelines for thrush, the only thing that I would like to emphasize to you is the great importance of following these guidelines... with any form of candida your food can be your greatest friend or your worste enemy. You want to create an internal environment that is condusive for healing. No matter what medicines, natural or prescribed will work sufficiently until you get those foods which cause this to spread like wildfire, better yet like adding gasoline to a fire... especially sugar! Its time to get serious & delete all the foods that they mention, and 'no slip ups' or its like fire on gasoline again. To really be serious you will need to change your eating habits for the greatest results. Also, may I recommend that you research hydrogen peroxide (you can buy a food grade source that is very strong at a health food store, your instructions that you locate should tell you how to dilute it for your personal use, what would be best is to talk to a qualified practitioner or someone at the healthfood store that has experience with using this product for internal use). Hope this helps (: if you have any further questions please feel free to contact me off the list, many blessings Jiwan Shakti Kaur Tampa,FL --- rasheedaas <rasheedaas > wrote: > Sat nam, > Since I see so many good health tips here that even > holistic > practitioners don't always come up with - > wonder if anyone has any good idea? > > I have been taking a super probiotic -20 billion > particles of > lactobicillus and bifido bifidum and one other that > I forget. > > I know the usual dietary guidelines for candida, and > am conforming > probably as much as I can. > Trying to eliminate sugar (not complete). > > So far 3 weeks, no improvement. > > > Any suggestion appreciated. > > thank you so much, > Kartar kaur > > > > >
Guest guest
Sat Nam Karta Kaur Are you speaking of oral thrush or vaginal thrush. Are you a diabetic? Is your immune system ok or have you any other clues as to why this is happening. I am getting touch with some alternative people I know and trust. One of my ways of treating vaginal candida was to use the liquid probiotics as a douche. Of course , you have to be persistent. I will get in touch with you as soon as I find anything that will help. As a diabetic, I am always trying to find better ways to help. I am even trying DanActive (a Dannon Yoghurt product) even tho' it has a little sugar in it. I drink it at those times when my blood sugar is quite low and it is then not likely to push it out of control. I've only been using it for two days and my stomach already feels much better. I am very frank about these problems as women/men feel shy about reaching out for help. Lovingly Teresa
Guest guest
Sat Nam Karta Kaur I spoke to a Chiropractor friend of mine and she recommended Candibactin A and B. Go to the web and look it up under that. Metagenics is a reliable company that makes it. I would read up on it before taking it. Even though they make claims, who knows. This plus acidophilus 2 times daily. The other is from a good friend of mine who is very holistic and sees a holistic M.D. and he recommended Caprylic Acid for her 5 year old son who has yeast problems. She buys the Solaray brand as Capryl M. Please go to Wikipedia on the web and look it up under Caprylic Acid and make your decision from whatever info you can find and talk to your provider or practitioner about them. The liquid acidophilus works well for vaginal candida but you have to be persistent. Plain yoghurt soothes the outer vaginal area but is messy. There are tablets you can get prescribed by your doctor. (Sporonox and Lamisil tabs)The problem is that these can damage your liver and in some cases cause liver failure. There is also a prescriptive oral solution for thrush which is ok. If you go in this direction, I suggest you thoroughly investigate these and talk to your Medical Doctor about them. Good Luck. Maybe and herbal practitioner can suggest others. Always research whatever is suggested. Lovingly Teresa
