Guest guest
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. Of course, there is no place for changing and adjusting what Acarya spoke. As is said in below quote, "when a pure devotee or spiritual master speaks, what he says should be accepted as having been directly spoken by the Supreme Personality of Godhead in the parampara system." In ISKCON, Srila Prabhupada is certainly on such topmost position, and we can easily understand, that what he spoke, is to be accepted as Krsna would be speaking to us. Still, unfortunately, some seem to know better, and dare to adjust Srila Prabhupada's words, to make them better, more acceptable to public, or whatever reasons they provide to rationalize their whimsical acts. It is sad to see those things happen unchecked, and even defended and supported by leaders of ISKCON institution. It is causing split between Prabhupada's ISKCON movement and ISKCON institution. But since such things can be historically observed in all religions, probably thats just normal development of any religious institution of material world. Knowledge gets lost, and Krsna needs to establish it again and again. Possibly things move a bit faster in western kali-yuga. 30 years, and it is already quite serious. I wonder what will it be like in the future. After all, we still have some 9500 years of Caitanya era in front of us.... your servant Giri-nayaka das > Thank you so much for this nice quote which in itself, establishes that > there is indeed a clear line of demarcation between someone 'acting' as or > taking up the role of 'spiritual master', and that person who is the > actual PURE DEVOTEE, uttama adhikari who is "saksad haritvena" and > "rati-keli sidhhyai", and who has been sent directly from Goloka by the > Supreme Personality of Godhead to reclaim the fallen souls.
