The broadcasts are available on a limited basis so sometimes if many people are listening it is hard to get a connection -- but these issues are being ironed out as we write -- so stay tuned and we'll give you an update. Dear folks ~ when I logged onto my computer and saw the email from Swamiji and Maa about the broadcast (which was apparently correcting for a time change from some time to 7 am, pacific time), I immediately clicked on the link. Real Player came up, and nothing happened. (Of course, I was already late, because by this time it was around 9 my time, which is mountain time.) Then I opened up my Quickplayer and pasted the url into the Quickplayer (believe me, it took awhile for me to figure out how to do this, so I'm not sure I could explain it). But then, lo and behold, there was Swamiji and the other devotees at the Mandir, chanting the Chandi. What joy! I think, for this particular broadcast, you needed to actually tune it while it was occurring (in other words, it wasn't something you could go to the website later, after the actual puja was over and listen to). So some, like the new video, based on "Sahib Sadhu" and some of the clips of Shree Maa singing, you can go hear anytime. This was a "live" event, so to speak, so you had to tune in while it was taking place. I hope I haven't confused everyone. Okay, here is how the Quicktime thingie works, the next time there's an opportunity. You first open your Quicktime on your desktop, then click and hold on "File." You'll notice a few choices. The fourth one down (I think) says "Open URL." You go down (with your mouse/cursor) and click on that, and that brings up another window to paste the URL link into. Then you click on "Okay," and it should work. But, in the case of the Chandi recitation, I think it only worked if you opened the URL while the puja was actually occurring. If I am wrong, someone please provide the correct info. But this worked for me. : ) And how wonderful of Maa and Swamiji to come up with yet another way for us to take part in the goings on at the Mandir. Guest guest
Dear Linda, Thanks for the tip. I was finally able to watch the amazing movie about Swamijee. I had tried many times before and each time my internet connection would shut down. Thanks a ton. Hope you are all settled in your new home.
