there is an eexclusive narasimhar temple near moolakadi towards redhills....next to shell petrol bunk and another one near velachery bus stand in the city.

and the devotees built a temple called "Ford Narasimhan"

Polur is having a hill temple of Lord narasimhan

since the pooja is done once a day or once in few days

it is difficult to match our timings'

In Madras there is small lakshmi narasimhanswamy temple in valasaravakkam itself

(1000yrs old)

There is also s srinivasa temple with a small and beautiful lakshmi narasimha

statue .This temple is just opposite to TVS-CVAT school in vanagaram, on the out skirts of Chennai in the main road itself

All the above temple are over 1000yrs old

Narasimha Pooja was popular during Pallava's and Vijayanagara samrajyam period

In north Tamilnadu you can find narasimha swamy temple in every historical villages

which are 800-1000 yrs old

Are you sure it is in Polur or you are trying to say SHOLINGHAR.

If it is in Polur it is news for me. iam ardent devotee of Lord Narshimam. If it is in Polur definitely next trip to India this place is my priority
