Guest guest
Dear Varadaraj Ji Namaskar and thank you for your message when I was in India in 2001 it was in the months of October November when the humidity was extremely high......saw a collection of beads that were in a case that had white growths on them like a fuzzy white powder in Mumbai.......saw the same on single five mukhi beads worn around neck in Chennai and seem to be salt from the body and not ever takeing the bead off the neck........so bead was continually subjected to salts from body combined with humidity and soap and water from bath.......if you brush the beads with a soft plastic tooth brush and mustard oil this will remove the white powder material until the surface condtions again allow the powder to form.......your email indicates an India email address however dont know if you are in a humid area..........if you are in a humid area it seems the beads need to be cleaned and oiled more often depending on if you wear every day or or if you wear only once in awhile hope this helps Wishing you and Family the Best Rudra Center India and America , "Varadaraj" <mgvaradaraj wrote: > > I would like to inform that my beads are getting white powder coating. > I have been applying mustard oil and still this white powder > formations is taking place.
