Guest guest
I do this too. I'm not sure that I started doing this with the 14-mukhi or just when wearing the rudraksha beads during japa and hymns. I started putting a pencil or pen and paper beside me and writing down the things to do for the day. No one told me to do this, and I didn't know anyone else did it.. I think that the "things to do for the day" list is different if one does the list while the beads are on during meditation than your "things to do for the day" list will be if you do it without the beads and devotions. You can check this for yourself by making your own "things to do for the day" list when you first get up, and then having a paper and pencil handy beside you, and writing down "things to do for the day" list as you are doing your japa, hymns or meditations. I think that you will find that the lists are different, and I try to go by the list done during devotions. Even though I have been wearing a 14-mukhi all the time (with small breaks for baths, etc.) I still try to go by the list done during devotions. There aren't any great things on my lists, such as write to the president of the US, although I did write to the Canadian Prime Minister and asked him to bring all of the Iraqi women and children to Canada before the bombing started, but of course, no one listens to me, and I can't remember whether I did that before or after my devotions.
