Whether the planet is ahead of the cusp or after the cusp of the house and whether there is any contradiction among its lordship(onwership) and association and occupation- has to be seen. All planets at birth shows our past karma and retrograde planets declares it more emphatically. Sometimes they link to our life's purpose. Sometimes they indicate the result of our accumulated past actions we have to experience in this birth- the invisible part or the chart showing the future and the visible part showing our past. I do not have URL, he can provide you URL. On retrogression, there is a very good book by Ignis (under supervision of Shri MC Jain). So summing up not neccessary that many R Planets would indicate unfinished business. .......Sometimes they link to our life's purpose.
