Guest guest
I donot know whether people on this list would take it positively, as remaining defensively apologising and talking against Vedic culture is the only sign of being progressive & secular Hindu, but while surfing I came across a site - maintained by a foreigner, which adds to its authority & value in our slave mentality - having photographs of evidences of Taj Mahal originally a magnificent Hindu Shiv Temple constructed by Sawai Jai Singh ji of Jaipur, who was one of the Navratnas in the court of Akbar & who married his sister to Akbar- she was mother of Jahangir, and grand mother of Shahjahan. Shahjahan captured the Temple two generations later it was built and concocted stories around it. Guest guest
Dear poster, Don't assume or be guarded about or post disclaimers about things and attitudes that you assume! Just state facts -- and let readers interpret! These are intelligent forums, and forums where intelligent people dwell -- Always assume that! Then -- there will not be any pressure on you or others or any cultures! Cultures as assumed are really not that clear-cut and segregated as some/many posts and posters assume, in this global cyber village! Did you count how many times the word, "assume" appeared? Regards, Ranjan P.S.: Anyone remembers articles by Oakes or similar sounding name that were published in the most progressive journal that I had the pleasure and privilege of having experienced: The Astrological Magazine (Bangalore, published by Sri Raman)? , Mr Pankaj Sharma <pankaj_astrology wrote: > > I donot know whether people on this list would take it positively, as remaining defensively apologising and talking against Vedic culture is the only sign of being progressive & secular Hindu, but while surfing I came across a site - maintained by a foreigner, which adds to its authority & value in our slave mentality - having photographs of evidences of Taj Mahal originally a magnificent Hindu Shiv Temple constructed by Sawai Jai Singh ji of Jaipur, who was one of the Navratnas in the court of Akbar & who married his sister to Akbar- she was mother of Jahangir, and grand mother of Shahjahan.
