Guest guest Posted July 29, 2006 Report Share Posted July 29, 2006 I have put following files in the "Programs" conference: CHARCNV9.ZIP 35840 29-Jul-06 Character Conversion in Text Files (Windows) CHARCNV9.SIT 40725 29-Jul-06 Character Conversion in Text Files (Mac OS X) EDRTF13.ZIP 61772 29-Jul-06 Converts ED text files to RTF and back (Win) EDRTF13.SIT 71093 29-Jul-06 Converts ED text files to RTF and back (OS X) These programs are text mode programs and run only in a command prompt window of Windows or in a terminal window of Mac OS X respectively. The changes in CharConv since version 8 are: - Conversion from and to Unicode is supported. - The processing of RTF files is better. - New option -w or -m to tell the program that the output is for Windows or Mac in case for an RTF output file an ED.CFG file is given.
