Azhagiyasingar brahmotsavam 2006

 

 

The immediate thought that comes to our mind when we hear the word "Thiruvallikeni" is PARTHASARATHY. But there is one another emperuman who enjoys an equal status-quo Sri Azhagiya singar or Sri Narasimhar. Eventhough there are five emperumans in this divyashEtram (Parthasarathy, Azhagiya singar, Sri Varadarajan, Sri Ramar and Sri Ranganathar) Dwajasthambam is installed only for two emperumans, Parthasarathy and Azhagiyasingar. Hence only these two enjoy Brahmotsavam. "Chittirai" (April) month is for Parthasarathy and "Ani" (July) is for Azhagiyasingar. Recently the 10 day Brahmotsavam for the latter concluded in a very grand and fitting manner. Some of the divine moments have been captured in the following folder of our "AstAna Sri vaishnava Photo website" PBase.
