|| Om Gurave Namah ||

Dear Friends,

Just as small refresher on Kaarakas, If you read Brihat Parashara Hora

Shastra, The Kaaraka (Doers) are defined in first few chapters until the

last shloka in Divisional Considerations chapter. Further after chapter on

Karakatwa chapter more elaboration in done on tasks done by each graha in

nature and in each bhaavas.

The first few chapter define the natural significance of each graha, Later

in kaarakatwa chapter Maharishi Parashara defines Atmakaaraka

etc(Charakaaraka), Sthira kaaraka. Thus every graha creates, sustaines and

destroys due to they being controlled by Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara.

These can be

Mahararishi Parashara also explains which Grahas do the tasks for each

Bhaava and rashi in our horoscopes.

Let me summarize them in the below table.

Here is a breif explnation of each,

1) Kaala Purusha is time incarnate, He gives the results of Karma. For

example, All activities done to Lagna it's fruit is given by Mars. Hence

makes you strong. Another example is all activities done to 2nd house gives

you results thru Venus, Hence gives you good spouce and conforts. The

activities done to maitain a good family is reaped thru Kala Purusha 2nd

Lord. Like all karma 10th house work, All hard work done gives the fruit

thru a benficial saturn, similarly everything we take (11th) from others the

fruit is given thru Saturn or Rahu(natural 11th lord).

2) Bhaava's from Kaaraka:Every kaarka blesses us with something, the houses

counted from Kaaraka (doer) shows what blessings we get from each kaaraka,

Like 4th from moon gets us the mother, Lagna/self/1st house is gift of

mother, hence 1st from moon is what we get from mother, The 6th from mercury

gives us good relatives and thus reduces enmity, the 6th from mercury is

gives us strength.

3) Bhaava's kaaraka: Counted from lagna, Each house upliftment is taken care

by a graha, For example, The body is made for the soul (Sun), Hence Sun

takes care of upliftment of the soul, 2nd from Lagna is controlled by

Jupiter, It controls the qualtity we eat and benevolent nature towards the

family, etc

The lord from lagna will indicate how the individual is varying from the

above precepts. declare good or bad knowing the above precepts.

Warm Regards

Sanjay P
