Guest guest
>Please note, that in the quoted Bhagavatam verse Kapiladeva says: vina >mat-sevanam janah - they refuse, if there is no service to Him in it. Thank you, Adipurusa Prabhu, for this perceptive remark. Maybe BBT editors should include translation of vina mat-sevanam janah in square brackets into the verse translation? The point is essential but quite elusive -- unless one carefully reads Sanskrit and/or word-for-word. Seems that this quote if taken in the context of the whole chapter refers to mahatma-jnanavan (surrendered devotee in knowledge), not to the ordinary jnani. As we well know from other Srila Prabhupada's statements an ordinary jnana-yogi may at most attain impersonal liberation.
